Quarterfinals will be held at HALL HIGH SCHOOL on JANUARY 17TH in the afternoon. You MUST be there no later than 4 P.M. for the competition – its starts at 4:45 p.m.! The “side” that will be arguing will be drawn that day – right before the competition –so each side needs to be there. The side who does not argue will stay and support the side that does – you are a team.
As you are aware, the 17th is an exam day, so I need to know who drive themselves to the competition to arrange their own rides by the end of the day TODAY! I will not be going home after the competition so I cannot bring anyone home or back to Mercy, but I might be able to drive no more than 4 UP to the competition. You would need to get your own rides home. I know that all of you will go home most likely before the competition since you will be done with school at 11:30 a.m. Your ride will need to get you to Hall High School by 4:00 p.m. and will need to pick you up by promptly by 6:30 p.m.
I have attached the permission slip for the quarterfinals that I need by tomorrow! Please print it out and bring it to me in school. DO NOT FORGET!!
Our ONLY practices will be as follows: Please make every effort to attend for your team! Please make you’re your priority for the remainder of the State Competition. Arrange whatever you need regarding work, after school activities, etc. There will be no practice on Monday, January 16th (our day off MLK Day).
Wednesday, January 4th – 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, January 9th – 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 11th – 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Also, I would like to put in the order for our Mock Trial Rugby Shirts, so if you are still interested in ordering one, I will need $30. In an envelope with your name and women’s size AND unisex size on the envelope, by Wednesday’s practice. Please make all checks out to: “CASH” or “TERRI CORIGLIANO” because I am personally ordering them. If I do not have your money by Wednesday, I cannot order one. Sorry, but I have gotten burnt on this too many times in the past, so I am holding firm to this rule. The order will be place on Thursday morning, and no late orders can be placed, so please get your money in ON TIME if you would like one.
Also, Joelle wants to take some yearbook pictures on Wednesday at rehearsal, so please look lovely – as you always do. J
